Emrul has been training CFA candidates for over 10 years through FinanceTraining.ca, The Princeton Review, and UBC Sauder. He currently lectures at the University of British Columbia, and Simon Fraser University, Canada. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance at the Beedie School of Business of Simon Fraser University, Canada, and an MA in Financial Economics from York University, Canada. Emrul is also a certified FRM (Financial Risk Manager). He spent several years as an Investment Analyst and Consultant at different investment banks and think tanks such as Fraser Institute and Asian Tiger Capital Partners Ltd. He is an avid cricket fan and established the master franchise of Last Man Stands Canada (largest global amateur league of the world) and Last Man Stands Canada DEI Foundation.
