Dr. Emrul Hasan, CFA, FRM, Ph.D., is an experienced finance educator specializing in economics, investment analysis, and CFA exam preparation.

He has been associated with FinanceTraining.ca for over a decade, primarily through CFA exam-preparation instruction and CFA course-content development on a contractual basis when engaged. His last assignment was in 2025. He may occasionally review educational materials for conceptual accuracy.

He receives no compensation, commissions, or referral fees from student purchases of FinanceTraining.ca materials. He is also a professor at UBC and SFU, and his involvement is independent of his university teaching appointments and does not constitute an endorsement by any university.
